925.684.9599		Cattail Creek School was founded on the belief that children learn best and retain more when actively involved in their education. Through a curriculum which emphasizes achievement above that of a traditional grade level, students experience mastery of skills through manipulative materials, cooperative learning and problem solving.

Through phonics and literature children experience and refine skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Mathematics focuses on both the process and the product as we believe it is as important to know why an algorithm works as what the correct answer is. Science instruction emphasizes why and how from personal experience. Social Studies aims to give students a look at the past and its relationship with their own lives while giving them skills to make decisions about their futures. Physical education, art and music instruction give students additional opportunities for self development and expression.

All children are capable of academic achievement. Cattail Creek School seeks to provide an environment where motivated students can explore and discover their own potential.
