 I'm really looking forward to having you in my class this year. We'll work hard and have lots of fun together. Here are the supplies you will need:



#2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)

wide rule binder paper 8 1/2" x 11"

7 one inch binders
(regular round rings and soft covers are the type to get -- NO TRAPPERS!)

2 spiral notebooks

sharp scissors (get good scissors with long blades and sharp points), a protractor and a ruler (clear, uncolored plastic is best)

erasable black or blue ink pens

white liquid glue and a solid glue stick

colored pencils (the Crayola brand are best -- get the biggest set you can; NO MARKERS or CRAYONS)

watercolor pencils (again, Crayola makes a good set; get the largest set possible.)

manual pencil sharpener (quiet, self-contained, with a cover to hold shavings)

one roll of clear contact paper


For French: 3 dividers, binder paper, and colored pencils

It is very important that you get EXACTLY the materials listed here. Do not substitute and think that something else will work better because it won't. In order for you to do your assignments properly you need to have these supplies. If you purchase something other than what is on the list I'm going to have you take it home and get the correct item. Please bring all your supplies to school on Orientation Day.



DO NOT put your name on the binders or notebooks. You will receive the labels for the notebooks and binders during Orientation. You will not have room in your desk for a box to hold your supplies. I will provide you with a tool kit to keep all the items together in your desk.



I will also provide you with an assignment book and a homework folder.
